Alex Marks 
Maintenance Manager 
Since Alex was a young boy he has always been fascinated by building and creating new things. With an entrepreneurial spark, Alex was always coming up with new ideas and trying his hand at repairing everything in sight! 
Putting his skills to the test, at the age of 14, Alex went into business and ‘Wheel’fix’it’ was born! Alex started repairing and selling bikes in his parents’ garage… those were the days! 
 
Going to college and moving overseas changed his goalposts and after settling in Israel, Alex spent 5 years doing maintenance work, with job’s as small as securing a kitchen unit door, leading up to full refurbishment projects including; rewiring, plumbing, tiling, all joinery works, and installation of air-conditioning units. It would be fair to say Alex is our resident handy man. 
 
In 2014, Alex moved to Manchester where he joined AMCO Management as the Property Maintenance Manager, where he has been able to put his hands on knowledge to good use running a successful Maintenance department on behalf of AMCO’s Landlords, Investors and Tenants. 
 
Alex now oversees a team of contractors, organising daily repairs right through to full refurbishments, liaising between property owners and tenants to ensure the smooth completion of works required. A responsibility that requires the ability to understand each jobs individual requirements, costings and its timeframe to complete. 
Alex is passionate about the service and works completed by the Maintenance team and its contractors, ensuring high standards are delivered at every opportunity.
